Requirements to change corporate name

 

From Individual to Individual:

The party transferring:

  • Note signed by the current customer transferring the service to the new customer.
  • Copy of both sides of ID card, residence card or passport. (Expiry date must come indicated) (Driving permit only in the case of Costa Ricans)

The party accepting:

  • Note signed by the new customer con the following data:
    1. Accepting the service (or services), as well as the outstanding balances.
    2. Address, telephone number, fax number, postal address, and method of payment (indicate # of card in case payment is made by card, checkup # (if any), and expiry date and issuing bank).
  • Copy of both sides of ID card, residence card or passport. (Expiry date must come indicated) (Driving permit only in the case of Costa Ricans)

From Corporation to Corporation:

The party transferring:

  • Note signed by the legal representative of the company transferring the service to the new customer.
  • Copy of both sides of current legal representative’s ID card, residence card or passport. (Expiry date must come indicated) (Driving permit only in the case of Costa Ricans)

In case the legal representative is different from the one previously registered, in addition a copy of the legal capacity must be attached with no more than one month of issuance.

The party accepting:

  • Note signed by the new customer’s legal representative with the following data:
    1. Accepting the service (or services), as well as the outstanding balances.
    2. Address, telephone number, fax number, postal address, and method of payment (indicate # of card in case payment is made by card, checkup # (if any), and expiry date and issuing bank).
  • Copy of both sides of current legal representative’s ID card, residence card or passport. (Expiry date must come indicated) (Driving permit only in the case of Costa Ricans)
  • Copy of the company’s legal ID number.
  • Copy of the company’s valid legal capacity. (with no more than one month of issuance).

In case both companies’ legal representative is the same person a note will be made with the following data:

  1. Transferring the service (or services).
  2. Accepting the service, as well as outstanding balances.
  3. Address, telephone number, fax number, postal address, and method of payment (indicate # of card in case payment is made by card, checkup # (if any), expiry date and issuing bank), this in case the information previously given has changed.

And attach:

  • Copy of both sides of current legal representative’s ID card, residence card or passport. (Expiry date must come indicated) (Driving permit only in the case of Costa Ricans)
  • Copy of the company’s legal ID number.
  • Copy of the company’s valid legal capacity. (with no more than one month of issuance)

From Individual to Corporation:

The party transferring:

  • Note signed by the current customer transferring the service to the new customer.

The party accepting:

Note signed by the new customer’s legal representative with the following data:

  Service (or services), as well as the outstanding balances, accepted.

•  Address, telephone number, fax number, postal address, and method of payment ( indicate # of card in case payment is made by card, checkup # (if any), expiry date and issuing bank)

  • Copy of both sides of current legal representative’s ID card, residence card or passport. (Expiry date must come indicated) (Driving permit only in the case of Costa Ricans)
  • Copy of the company’s valid legal capacity.
  • Copy of the company’s legal capacity (with no more than one month of issuance).

In case both companies’ legal representative is the same person a note will be made with the following data:

    1. Transferring the service (or services).

In case the legal representative is different from the one previously registered, in addition a copy of the legal capacity must be attached with no more than one month of issuance.

The party accepting:

  • Note signed by the new customer accepting the service con the following data:

  Accepting the service, as well as outstanding balances.

  Address, telephone number, fax number, postal address, and method of payment (indicate # of card in case payment is made by card, checkup # (if any), expiry date and issuing bank), this in case the information previously given has changed.

  • Copy of both sides of ID card, residence card or passport. (Expiry date must come indicated) (Driving permit only in the case of Costa Ricans)

Note:

It is important to mention that if any of the previous requirements is missing the procedure will not be performed until the same are met.

If the current customer does not have guarantee deposit (s) for the services to be transferred, the same will be charged to the new customer to his/her the account.

When the customer has several services in an account and only one or different services is/are to be transferred, not in their totality, it must be clearly explained which are the services to be transferred. In case of Corporate Customers, in addition to the customer’s letter, the Sales Executive must indicate with a note the identification of the services to be transferred.
