Roaming Internet Service

Operation:

Through the international pass service our company takes care of giving the service between RACSA and all the other Internet providers in the world, checking the users’ authentication when they establish their connection with the other providers. In this way the traveling customer must only dial the local number of access and he/she will be able to enter the network, with the user number and the password that he/she usually uses to get connected by means of RACSA.

The program to use the international access to Internet service (Roaming) is supplied without any additional cost and it contains a telephone directory with all the access numbers in the world.

To establish the connection:

The customer must follow the instructions for the installation detailed by the iPass service and check its performance before embarking on the trip. It is convenient the prior configuration of the alternate telephone numbers before establishing the connection abroad, given that occasionally some points of access may be out of service.

There are different modems installed on the systems of access throughout the world. Many countries differ in their regulations and implementations as regards telecommunications; this is why the customer must coordinate with his/her modem’s provider to make sure that his/her modem is compatible with the destination country’s telephone system.

Many of the old modems are not compatible in certain countries. The customer must have an appropriate plug (or mailing this, an adapter) to be able to get connected to the destination country’s network.
