This technology allows the user to quickly get through high speed Internet and through the web site www.gamex.co.cr the complete version of a game without having to download it.      

Two game games will be commercialized: “Premium” (with over 200 titles and a value of $14,95) and the kid’s packet known as “Kids”, that will cost $7,95 and which will have over 50 games available. Both packets can be acquired through prepaid cards or on line through Visa credit or debit card (making a safe transfer through the Visa® Verified system) which will allow any of the games offered within the packet chosen, 24 hours a day during 30 days after the first access.   

In order to use the service the users are required to download and install, from the web page www.gamex.co.cr an application (known as player) which will be in charge of managing your games. This application will be installed only once and it is used for all of the packet’s games.   

With this application the user chooses his/her game and the system checks to see if the computer complies with all the minimum technical requirements for the game to be executed.    

In case the user’s equipment complies with all of the game’s requirements, 20% of the game’s size must be downloaded from the server; this is the only thing that the user downloads to his/her hard drive and this will be enough to play. What remains of the information of the game is to be kept and accessed at the server.  

Aspects of the service such as the web page, regulations, frequently asked questions section, registration forms, description of the games and customer service will be is Spanish, nevertheless, a great portion of the content, specifically the games and their respective manuals will be available only in English, because usually the games are developed in English only, and this content is subject to copyright laws.
